Join us for the New England Rural Health Association’s inaugural Rural Health Student Summit on Saturday, September 7th, 2024, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm. Begin your day with a networking session and light breakfast & coffee, followed by our kickoff event featuring a panel discussion. This discussion will explore the vital role of interprofessional collaboration and shed light on the nuances of working in rural communities. Then delve into informative sessions covering crucial topics like loan repayment strategies, navigating identity and community dynamics in rural settings, and the compelling reasons behind choosing to live and work in rural communities. After lunch, join us for skill-building workshops on NARCAN administration and more. Finally, wrap up the summit with an optional group outdoor activity.
